Slow Food South Australia - Snail of Approval

We are very excited that we have recently received our Snail of Approval through Slow Food South Australia.

Slow Food South Australia is part of the global Slow Food network that has grown into a movement involving millions of people in over 160 countries.

Founded in 1989 by Italian journalist and environmental activist Carlo Petrini, Slow Food is a non-profit, grassroots organisation that aims to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from and how it tastes.

Snail of Approval is given to recipients who follow the ethos of practicing and promoting Good, Clean and Fair Food to the world.

We are committed to preserving the 90 year tradition of making Barossa Egg Noodles. We continue to use traditional methods and source all-natural Australian ingredients, to handcraft this Barossa pantry staple that has been in constant production since 1935.
