Our Ribbon Noodles are a wide, generous noodle that has been a cornerstone of Wiech’s since 1935; when Marie Wiech first began selling traditional German egg noodles to the Barossa community. These noodles have stood the test of time, offering versatility and are the perfect base for any dish.
These Ribbon egg noodles are great for hearty dishes like stroganoff, bourguignon, or a rich ragu, they’re also fantastic in stir-fries, absorbing the flavours of your ingredients with ease. We love them because they bring a touch of comfort and tradition to every meal, just as they did back when Marie first made them.
Cooking Tip: For stir-fries or salads, rinse the noodles immediately after cooking to keep them from sticking together, then toss them back in to soak up all the flavours.
